Oh yeah, the dopamine and noradrenaline boost from its 5HT2C-antagonism kicks in right away. I noticed a mood-lifting effect as soon as I started taking low dose Prozac. Tests with rats have also shown that Prozac causes an immediate rise in dopamine and noradrenaline levels. Unlike serotonin reuptake inhibition, the benefits of 5HT2C-antagonism can be enjoyed without having to endure weeks of worsened symptoms first.
