I see that selegiline is listed as contradicted in the strattera monograph. EMSAM is also listed (emsam being nonselectively an MAO-A/B inhibitor, selegiline only inhibiting MAO-B within normal dose ranges).
as they both work on different neurotransmitter systems (although a related one since DA > NE?) i wouldn't intuitively assume the two would cause problems together.
could it be dangerous? if it wouldn't be while selegiline still retains it's selective MAO-B inhibition, i'd still be concerned dosing with the liquid citrate as the sublinqual administration has been shown to raise bodily concentration of selegiline 5 fold over oral metabolism. apparently 5mg sublingual selegiline = 25 mg of oral selegiline HCL (i have an abstract if anyone is interested), potentially entering nonselective territory. nonetheless, i've never heard of anyone encountering a hypertensive reaction at such a dosage of the liquid. thoughts?

I wouldn't know about the liquid - if it really increases bio-availability five-fold, you should either take a lower dose or switch to oral ingestion, I guess. Above 10mg, selegiline begins losing selectivity, and around 50mg and above, you can really kiss your selectivity goodbye.
What could be a problem is that both atomoxetine and selegiline tend to raise blood pressure and increase pulse. So if you take them together, it might be wise to monitor these. Got a blood pressure meter? They're cheap nowadays, and it's lots of fun to keep track of your BP and pulse.

I wouldn't do it. Strattera boosts norepinephrine. Even small amounts of excess norepinephrine can cause a blood pressure spike. You could stroke out. I've tried tiny doses of selegiline with wellbutrin and regretted it. If you ever do try something like this, make sure you have a strong antihypertensive on hand and a phone that works.

This is a good site to check interactions for FDA approved drugs. They're thorough and Elsevier is to be trusted.

This site you can check non-FDA drugs. You should register first. It's free:

I'd like to know if anyone has a good European site.

Mixing the two can cause seizures and severe hypertension. Although, my source hints that it might be safe with low enough doses of selegiline (less than 30mg/day).
