Dogs are wonderful. They don't know self-pity :)
When I am really depressed, I can't connect with dogs. Terrifying, really.
Miss my old lab. Now she was quite a gal. Hated to see me cry. She'd look concerned, then leave the room :) (Showed good sense.) My doxie cuddles up. Has been known to lick tears. (My son's too.) He's got big dog soul for a little guy. A true, sweet hound.
I can tell my depression is less because we're talking about another lab. If the fatigue doesn't do me in.
Hope this post isn't sent to alt/healing--canine therapy.
MDD currently controlled. C-ptsd and comorbid health concerns. Chronic fatigue.
