sounds like you need a new job. and if i were a customer, i probably wouldn't return.

it *is* customary to give two weeks' notice, but it's not your problem if they've not hired someone after that time. give your two weeks (if you can afford to not work), and get the heck out of there.

kudos to you for keeping up school and work though.
