I feel that if you have a medical problem that drugs are a reasonable solution.

I, too, have low/no motivation. I can tell that this isn't just laziness on my part because once in a great while - every 3 - 6 months - I will have a day, or a morning, when I DO have motivation. Wow. It makes me say "Oh, that's what having motivation used to feel like".

For me, personally, a combination of Provigil and Strattera is helpful. It's hard to say how helpful it really is since I've been under unbelievable stress (changing therapists) recently. But I know that if I feel this much better when I'm under the stress, there is real hope for the future.

If you were diabetic you would take insulin and not think that you were morally defective.

Just my opinion. Good luck.
