He sounds a little 'sarcastic' to me. I have a shrink like that and if I'm being hypersensitive he really gets to me with those off-hand comments. Maybe you can bring it up with him next time you see him- tell him how it made you feel and I guarantee he'll be more careful in the future. If not, dump him. Take care, Judy
