I did more research and the incident of hypomania occurred in a woman who was depressed after a traumatic brain injury. She was taking fluoxetine, buspirone, ginkgo, st. john's wort, and melatonin. My guess is St. John's wort is what added to her mania since I have taken ginkgo before and it only has mild mood boosting effects. In fact I only noticed the positive effects of ginkgo after I stopped it.
For that reason I would not worry about B-6, since I felt better on ginkgo. If it was removing to much I probably would have felt worse on it. If you do try it, ginkgold is the only brand in the US that is made the German Commission E standard.
Since Fluoxetine has noradrenic and serotonergic effects I would think it could raise or lower blood pressure depending on the dose and the individual.
