Yes, I can tell you whether Strattera causes insomnia.
It does, quite intensely. After about a week or two, this effect subsides.
In the initial trials of this drug in 1985, when it was viewed as a potential antidepressant, the investigator mentions that at one point, every single patient was taking chloral hydrate to combat the insomnia.
In children, on the other hand, it seems to cause sleepiness.
