- Glutamate inhibition in the thalamus results in an increase in dopaminergic activity in the nucleus accumbens (the reward/feel-good center).As I see it here, I guess it is possible for memantine to improve anhedonia.
What dosage of memantine are you using now, and how high are you willing to go with it?
Currently:
Parnate 80mg
nortriptyline 150mg
Lamictal 200mg
Abilify 20mg
memantine 20mg.
