Well, It's round number two for Parnate and it doesn't seem to be going too well this time. Last time it calmed me down and made me very motivated. This time around I'm still quite irritable, spaced out and tired. I'm a little reluctant to go with a med like Lamictal, since my previous two attempts with mood stabilizers made me lethargic and stupid. One of Lamictal's more common side effects is rash, and I am batteling one nasty case of hives that the Parnate gave me. Tegrol also gave me a rash. By the way, a real killer combination for any kind of allegic reaction is Doxepin and Ranitidine. It seems that there is a synergistic relationship between H1 and H2 antagonists that makes the combo much more effective than either one alone. Excellent combo for people that are suffering from edema or other allergic reactions to their meds.
