Thanks for the reply tina

Phobia ? no, I don't think so, don't have any except for paying taxes. love to eat & have always enjoyed food. Enjoyed eating out & still do. It is a major nusiance.

Weight has never been a particular problem or concern, other than I gained about 10# on the zoloft which has been hard to loose.

it is not socially related, that I can tell. It is the same no matter where. It is a little less of a problem when in public as it is easier to be distracted. It appears all automatic & autonomic. It does not start with the eating itself but comes about 20min later or so. If I follow BP & HR it slowly ramps up over the 20 min. It is worse as the meal gets larger.

Yep, had blood sugar tested & had glucose tolerance test. all cold normal.

Yep, also feels like a seratonin type effect, although I do not get any flushing or other things to go with it. The shaking is an intention tremour that gets worse with stress. I was never able to get rid of it while on the zoloft (was bad enough at times it was hard to even write a check ) & and switched to celexa & inderal. It is much better on that combination most of the time.

Klonopin did not completely stop the shakes. Over all the tremour /shakes seemed to either be seratonin effects or incompletely treated anxiety. I could never decide which & neither could the pdoc.

thanks, dan
