First, everyone is different and my reactions to drugs are not always typical. That being said, when I took buspar my pulse was racing and I thought I was having a heart attack. Talk about a major panic attack. I called the doc and he told me to take a valium and stop the buspar. I thought I was going to die.
I don't know who makes buspar but if you can find out, go to the manufacturer's website. You can probably find some more objective info there.
