I just wanted to publicly apologize to you for being so horrible the last week or so. I know your info is wonderful. But I'm been angry at me and was taking it out on you. I guess I needed to stop getting angry with my husband and I took it out on you. I am truly sorry. Love Phillipa

lol....that made me remember....many years ago, my ex-hubby used to turn to people he was *very* irritated with, give them a look that could kill, and in his most dramatic voice, say,
"oh yeah? well you can just back up nine yards, take a flying leap and BITE MY *SS!!"
Crude, sure, but he was cute doing it and it used to just crack me up.
I just had to say that.

Okay, W.C
I'm chuckling as I write this, because I so often worry (worried) about the same thing on Babble, well, (and in life too, but that's another story)
You don't know for sure it was ignoration (homemade word) it could have been dealt with via babblemail. I know that people have said nice things to me on babble, or asked me a question and it looks like I've totally ignored them when in fact I wrote to them privately.
I've often want to post "To anyone who's privately feeling bad for so and so, I did respond" ; )And sometimes people don't know what to say, and need a while..
Some people accept apologies by not directly acknowledging them but simply resuming friendly conversation. That's how my dad used to work,
I could apologize and he'd say nothing, but then if he asked me at dinner if I'd like more mashed potatoes I knew it was accepted. And other times, you just need to let yourself feel good an p*ssed off for a while too, (if that's the case) before you're ready to accept.
So there
Life lessons that you already knew,
From someone not a *whole* lot older
and no wiser than you..

~i actually suggested babble mail so it wld. be private ;o) great minds think alike and for someone not much older than me, you're one smart cookie! you know how i am when i see a post w/ no response~gotta say something, anything. i think that tends to get me into trouble. ;~O i just feel so bad for the poster....ahhhh, tough skin, soft heart..

<<No, that was cat puke :D
i think that tends to get me into trouble. ;~OI think it's admirable, and I like it.
There was a poster here a few years ago, and I apologized to her, and she ignored me, and I apologized to her again, and she ignored me.
And I thought "fine then, beyyeooooooootch"
And we gave each other the big ignore for well over a year.
She's now one of my very favorite people.
And I bet if she's reading she knows exactly who she is!So I'm giving her a hug ((((?)))))

I would probably have responded sooner, but when I first read this thread, I read Wildcard's post as being about me, not Phillipa's husband. My feelings were hurt, and I didn't know how to respond.
Thank you, Phillipa, for the apology. It's accepted, but it really wasn't necessary.

Yup I reread the thread it does appear that I am talking about my husband. Ahh chalk it up to the weather. And you don't need to apologize. My turn to say Peace Love Phillipa. I really do respect your knowlege and I wanted you to know that. I am still new to this babbleland life. Leaning i hope everyday.
