Currently, I'm taking the expensive long acting version of Trileptal. It's great, I take it all at night and with 20 min it knocks me out. If I had to get up in the middle of the night I could not! It knocks me out for 8-9 hours!
My doc said I could take the regular Trileptal. I'm wondering about the correct times of day to dose it.
150mg morning? 150mg noon? 300mg afternoon?
300mg morning? 300mg evening?
I might try regular version to see if there is a big difference. I just want to get the dosing times correct.
Any thoughts?

I agree with Phillipa. Some trial and error is needed here. You could try 150mg in the morning and 300mg at night, or you could try 150mg in the morning, 150mg in the afternoon/evening and 300mg at night. No way to be sure in advance exactly what schedule will be best.
