It was mixed in with another topic - let's start a new thread!
I'm interested in dark chocolate, too. Whoever was researching it, please post on this thread, so we can all find it! :)I remember that the person was eating 1 oz of dark chocolate at 10am and that the Dove brand had more of 'something' than other brands.

Yeh I read the related post and noticed that some people too chocolate for anxiety.Whats with that.... what chems are in effect here? Whats causing the good responses?
I know there is theobromine, PEA, caffeine in chocolate but I woulda thought it might make you more energy full for a while but I didnt think could reduce anxiety.
A yway, any ne?

In my opinion, chocolate's anti-anxiety effect is from the endorphin release one experiences biting into a cholocoate bar (or whatever else it may be) - and doesn't come from anything in the chocolate itself.

This is the end of the thread.
