> Well.. PEA is so quickly degraded by MAO that it doesn't make any difference. Theobromine, I imagine, could create some mild mood-lifting effects - but would likely increase anxiety. In my opinion, chocolate's anti-anxiety effect is from the endorphin release one experiences biting into a cholocoate bar (or whatever else it may be) - and doesn't come from anything in the chocolate itself.i dunno, i think it's at least somewhat due to the combination of chemicals in chocolate-- don't forget anandamide too.
