I've been taking Serzone 200mg a day, and it seems to be helping. I've noticed that I feel better some parts of the day and then I feel kind of blah(not necessarily depressed part of the day. I just had it increased to 300mg a day hoping that that might stabilize the situation. Has anyone experienced this with Serzone? I would really appreciate any input. What dosages have people found works for them?
Thanks

i only take a tiny amount of serzone now, but i did take it for about 4 months. i was able to up my dose to 400mg/day when i tried it. it worked for my anxiety but not really for my depression. i found that the best way for me to take it was 100mg AM; 100mg noon/afternoon; and 200mg at bedtime. i'm glad that it is working out for you, it seems like the perfect antidepressant to me with few side effects, and it helps with sleep! unfortunately it just didn't do the trick for my depression. good luck.

I was on Serzone (can't remember the dosage) earlier this year for about four months and all it did for me, no matter what the dosage, or when I took it, was make me extremely fatigued and in a constant 'brain fog'. I couldn't sleep a normal schedule no matter how hard I tried, I slept 16-18 hours per day. The clonazepam could quite possibly have agitated the symptoms but after being off the serzone the sleep improved, but now it sucks again (insomnia with Parnate, *sigh*)............Just my experience. :-) Tori

MK1, are you splitting the dose and taking it two times a day? If not, you should be. Also, I have read on this board of people who had greater success with continuity when they divided the dose into three or four times a day. You might want to try it. shellie

I used the equivalent to serzone here in Europa some years ago and coped very well with it.
I never experienced any side effects.
The drog was banned on the market here and I am trying to find a supplier on the international market. Know of anyone?

Hi:
I used to take the Serzone/Nefadozone for the past three years, but I started to wean off of it this Summer. The Sezone was discontinued here, in USA also, but the Generic Form of Serzone, "Nefadozone" is EXACT same as the brand one, the Serzone, particulary in terms of 'Efficacy.'One of generic manufacturers, Mylan was my favorite due to a good communication if you need to write/talk to them.
Here is its web-address;http://www.mylan.com/product_guide/generics/index.php
However, I have no idea whether you are able to order and get the med. for which you're looking.
