carlito's way is not good

Posted by mike99 on April 6, 2006, at 4:47:40

Has anyone seen "Carlito's Way" with Al Pacino? No matter how hard Al Pacino's character tries to change his ways for the better and leave his sorted past behind, it seems impossible as s**t from his past will not let go of him. And then he gets stabbed to death.

Can anyone relate to this? I can.

I've read it's important to learn from the past but not dwell on it, and to focus on the now and future. But sometimes the past just keeps rearing its ugly face in the present.
