Phil we'd love to have you here in the Volunteer State.
I am ashamed to say I have never been to Graceland. I have driven by there but not done the tour thing. And I call myself a Southerner... It's a disgrace.
Memphis is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there. I am a hillbilly. I spent 5 years in the flat farm country of northwest TN, and was so glad to get back to the hills after that! How is the topography in and around Austin?
I hope ZH didn't take offense to my comparison between Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Willie Nelson. Certainly I didn't mean any.
WHen I visited Houston I loved it! Everyone was so friendly! It was a beautiful city, but I was only there for a weekend so I didn't really get to see much.
