All need heed your advice... 20 years ago we could back-up to a couple of 360k floppies and go home... Today may seem so much faster but the stuff we back-up is now mountainous!!! Listen to willyee about external hard drives for backup... They are getting smaller in size, and with massive storage, and for low bucks toooo... Its a fast and safe way to keep your stuff, and the software that runs it, from going away...
Also, 'Blue LASER' is just around the corner for 4 to 6 times CD-Rom storage (2.5 to 3.5 gig)... You can winzip a self-extractor, or 'ghost' your entire drive up to 10 gig, onto one CD-R in 'Blue LASER'...
