There is the hope that all the sciences will eventually be able to be unified via a process of reduction. So, for example
Mind can be reduced to Psychology (neuroscience)
Psychology (neuroscience) can be reduced to Biology
Biology can be reduced to Chemistry
Chemistry can be reudced to Physics
BUT
Physics requires an observer. Which (arguably) brings us back to Mind.Hows that for a nice big circle???
