True, if you are a bit hypomanic then you may feel sillyhearted at times. But I agree with fully agree Judy's points, just watch out for the "out of bounds" behavior indicative of a true mania.

I thought the joke was funny.
I even poke fun at myself.

Please note, some people are really sensitive and take what you may think you are saying in a light harteaded manner the wrong way and crucify you. So be careful (and thoughtful).
