My daughter is four. Yes, ask about Serzone; it's great. I take it at night at bedtime. It completely erases anxiety about sleeping. It started to work for me in about two weeks, so stick with it for at least that long before expecting results. It has worked for three years and has never pooped out! I do not use it for happiness, though, which requires a higher dose and may be less effective for sleep, though I've heard it's still good for sleep.
But do try those B vitamins. They may help you use energy more efficiently in the day so you sleep better (or relax better) at night. I'm sure you have tried the hot bath, reading, etc. to enhance sleep. And get started with your mediatation practice. Give yourself ten minutes when you wake up in the morning.
