There is no problem with you. Your humanity is not a problem.
I put a lot of stock in titles, and after reading your post I found your heading more heartbreaking than anything that followed.
You have retained your ability to love after having experienced an atrocity. Atrocity is about the evil men do to one another. You saw that, and it killed something in you, but the capacity to love shows thru in your post. Don't devalue the importance of that; losing it is what caused these men to take the life of your husband.
