Spike Milligan has sadly passed away, aged 84. (can you believe he was that old??!)
For you Americans who may not know him, he was one of the funniest men ever to come out of England. His humour was strange at the best of times, and his poetry even madder and funnier.
He was manic depressive and did alot (in my opinion!) to raise awareness of how terrible mental illness can be in the "normal" world.
He will be sorely missed, but his works will live forever.
