Yes, I have. It's still a painful story that I haven't yet felt able to tell here. Cam knows; his selfless offer of help last June was invaluable in lifting my spirits and enabling me to fight successfully for a further three months' salary before I finally lost my job, and my hope of a future career as a university lecturer. I hope, Cam, that your recent good news will be the long-deserved reward for many similar acts of kindness to those of us who, because of our illness, will never be in a position to repay you.
