here's one kind of lighthearted attempt!
I have a friend who was undergoing therapy about the same time I was (different T, though, and different office.)
She told me one time that her T f*rted in the room while they were talking! She said that for some awful reason she really wanted to giggle, and tried really hard to hold it back, but was sure he was see her trying not to laugh and would think she was immature. She said that neither one of the mentioned it then or ever. The way she told me the story was very funny, and it made ME laugh too. I guess my friends and I are all just anally regressed or whatever Freud would call it (what WOULD he call it???)
My T once made a silly noise while we were talking. She was actually getting some paperwork out of her desk, and it was a "businesslike" sort of moment, so neither of us were talking. So it was quiet, not uncomfortable, but just quiet, and I was looking at the things on her shelves. And then she made this loud odd noise like "Wheeeoooorruuuumpie." It seemed like a deliberate noise, and it startled me. I glanced over to see if she was trying to be funny, maybe making a noise b/c she couldn't find a paper or something, but she was still busily going thru her desk. So I pretended that I was just looking at the other shelf and ignored the noise. Hmmmm...
Has YOUR T ever done anything that was silly or embarrassing to either of you? Any funny T stories?
