Mothers/Wives with ADHD

Posted by Lasagne on June 9, 2003, at 19:43:18

Hi:
I was wondering if there are any mothers/homemakers out there that are interested is conversing via e-mail regarding their ADD/ADHD experiences.
I am a 33 year old woman. After years of suffering with depression and anxiety, my doctor finally did an evaluation on me and told me that he thinks that the source of my difficulties are due to a lifetime of coping with undiagnosed ADHD. I have been reading books to learn more about ADHD in adults, yet I think it would be helpful to have somebody that has this same problem in common with me to converse via e-mail with.
FYI: I was actually diagnosed because all three of my boys have ADHD. After years of treating our whole family our doctor began to see different clues in myself and my husband and so he invited us to do ADD/ADHD evaluations. It turns out that both my husband I have the disorder and are now receiving treatment.
If anybody is interested please e-mail me at [email protected]
Thanks
