Anyone tried Provigil for ADD or Depression?

My pysch has just given me some samples of provigil which he says is being prescribed off-label for ADD and depression. Everything I have been reading has been pretty positive, except its so new most insurance doesn't cover it and its about $8 a pill. After another bought with drugs failing I hope this works. Has anyone tried this and
