homocysteine, folate, and EPS

Posted by iforgotmypassword on April 22, 2008, at 7:55:38

this also came up in search:

"Homocysteine concentration correlated with the severity of extrapyramidal symptoms."

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15337665?ordinalpos=117&itool=EntrezSystem2.PEntrez.Pubmed.Pubmed_ResultsPanel.Pubmed_RVDocSum

wonder if there is a homocysteine correlation with EPS that have never gone away over long periods of time of med cessation, and sensitivity to even SSRIs causing EPS.

L-methylfolate (the medicinal ingredient of Deplin) is sold as being able to treat "diabetic neuropathy".
