Hi Dontdomuch,

I was in your situation a few months ago. Tried all the ssri's and atypical AD's and various combos, but nothing helped. Nardil has been a true lifesaver. I can honestly say that I feel 100% better. It may take 4-6 weeks after you reach 60mg to feel a real improvement. It's also possible that Nardil won't work for you, but it seems to be pretty darn effective for many people if they don't suffer too many side effects or are willing to tolerate them.

The fogginess may be a side effect of nardil or may just be due to lack of sleep. Do you have any sleeping meds? If not, ask your pdoc for something. For many people such as myself, the insomnia doesn't improve much over time.

So maybe stick with it for a while and try to be patient. It can take a wile for Nardil to kick in, even though you read stories of people who felt great in the first week. Good luck, and keep me updated with your progress!
