In reply to Question For ATM Lady About Ixel, posted by bulldog2 on February 4, 2008, at 16:33:18
I recall ATM Lady was already getting an impressive response from trivastal alone before starting ixel.
I have not tried effexor. I have tried cymbalta, nortriptyline and desipramine. Though ixel is theoretically very similar to all these, it felt uniquely different and better. Sadly it was a tease for just a few days and went downhill after that. In addition, I could hardly pee. I tried doses ranging from 12.5mg twice a day to 25mg twice a day. Any higher was totally out of reach unless I wanted to go to the emergency room to have my bladder emptied out.
> Why did you make the decision to go with ixel over older snri's such as effexor or cymbalta? Have you ever tried them?
