Hi.
Zuranolone is an oral medication related brexanolone, the "post-partum" drug. The problem with brexanolone is that it must be administered as continuous IV infusion over 60 hours.
Both drugs act as a GABA-A receptor positive allosteric modulator. It increases the activity of GABA neurons.
