> When I feel bad, in withdrawal or running out of dex, my personality disappears. Even with social anxiety, most people have a personality, they are just afraid to show it. When I had a stroke at 45 I completely lost it for nearly 5 years. It wasn't until I gave up the blood pressure med that it started to come back. I was eventually told by my doctor that blood pressure meds take about 3 weeks to fully kick in. I'd only come off for 4 days to see if it affected my mood. But when I came off for 3 weeks, voila!! I started to get my personality back. Before that I had nothing remotely funny or amusing to say. I nearly checked out on 3 occasions.

And, have you tried some alternate blood pressure meds? Having been a stroke victim, I imagine you know the danger there. Especially if you are on dexedrine. Sorry, I don't mean to sound patronizing, just concerned.
Have you tried the 'alternative' to dexedrine, Vyvanse? It doesn't seem to have as much of the cardiovascular issues as dexedrine, from what I have experienced and read.
