https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21696345I read somewhere that frequent intake of nicotine does increase some MAO-b, and yes i hvae noticed much of how it temporarly improves mood, but i don't smoke tobacco, its mainly a vape. But i also notice the reward stimulation of the next intake, you feel slight mood improvement for about 5 min, then it lasts for about an hour or 2 till puff, nicotine does in someways have postive effects on mood, but the intake from ciggerettes is mainly not a good way to do it and too much is not pleasant and toxic.....also coughing and getting frequent infections in lungs, (respiratory infection) increases significantly of those who smoke, i smoked marlboro for 10 years and i had quietly clear my throught around people, and got sick more easily main respiratory issues, you will cough from ciggerettes, then your lungs get used to it, but they will be prone to getting sick more easily
everything can change like that, and all these years go by so fast, but nothing lasts forever
