I'm pretty much thinking "If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always gotten". I'm wanting to make a change in my life, my health, my emotional wellbeing, etc... The past few years I've tried many medical treatments and haven't gotten anywhere with them. So, just like
How one makes a change when they realise a medication isn't working, I'm changing many more aspects about my life than just a medication. I've always figured my Diet was decently healthy and that I didn't need to change it much. My weight is fine. But these days I'm opening my mind to other ideas for a healthy diet. There are so many diets claiming to be the healthiest that contradict each other. But I'm just going with one that looks like it might just be beneficial for my situation. And part of its appeal to me is that it's quite different from my normal diet that is filled with carbohydrates. I just need to try something different. I think a lot of people need to try something different. And yes, ones diet can affect their mental health as much, good or bad, as any psychiatric treatment.
