In reply to increasing quetiapine (Seroquel) for unipolar, posted by Escapee on December 18, 2015, at 19:32:39
seroquel has been used for depression, i rerember when i was in rehab there was a lady on seroquel saying it helps her anxiety and mood, but my personal experience seroqeul is sedating and mind dulling, it can make thins feel peaceful and quiet in the mind, but it can blunt nuerotrasmitter trasnmission
like zyprexa is used for treatment resistant cases usally with prozac, maybe there's some receptor's it hits and helps the mood
seroquel can help with moood, but my own opinion it's sedating, can make a "boring calm"
but the best thing to do is ask to try it, start with the low dose before you start the extended release so it won't make you miserable being in your system too long
not a genius but understand pain
