I'm no longer responding to vitamin D3, so I'm no longer promoting it to individuals with depression that isn't responding well to treatment like I was when I wrote to you about it last. Having said that, I don't think it would hurt to get some tests done for markers of illnesses that produce depression or depression-like symptoms. Taking vitamin D3 if your blood level of the vitamin is low or getting a thyroid disorder treated if your thyroid hormone levels come back as abnormal would certainly make sense, although I can't say for sure that doing these things will necessarily relieve you of the symptoms that you're experiencing.
Regarding your medications, do you think that it might be worthwhile to try lowering the dose of one or more of your medications or tapering off of one or more of them completely (under professional supervision, of course)? I ask this because it doesn't sound like you're responding to your medications very well -- especially in the treatment of your depressive symptoms -- based on what you've written here. I'm not opposed to taking medications, but you do seem to write a lot about your medications not working, and if it is the case that at least the medications that you're taking for your depressive symptoms aren't working, then I'd question whether some of your medications are serving their intended purposes.
