> You know, I am not one to bash psychiatric drugs. But, after four months of Vyvanse use, it was almost impossible to quit. I lost 25 lbs in almost 2 weeks, and was scared to even leave my bed. The reason why I wanted to stop it was because it was making me feel totally f'ed up when I took it every morning. Then, when I stopped it, the horror was magnified. I could barely even get out of bed in the morning, and I was absolutely *freezing*...even a hot shower wouldn't warm me up. I felt like absolute hell. I couldn't leave the house, afraid something horrible was going to happen. I had to really force myself to go and visit friends on Xmas eve, and I just sat there, shivering from the cold, in a huge house with a fireplace.

Does anyone know if Modafanil behaves like the typical stimulants upon discontinuation? Is it Class II as well and have a risk of abuse?Bob
