> An AP was chose because Lamictal plus an AD was not giving me the remission I was looking for. I'm not sure of why Saphris in particular was chosen. I already had failed trials of Seroquel and Zyprexa. I took Abilify for a year but saw little benefit.

3. nortriptyline?Effexor + nortriptyline came pretty close to producing a robust improvement in my bipolar depression. Pristiq would probably work better than Effexor.
