Hi B.
> I remember you mentioning suffering from PTSD, but it seemed a bit different than the standard definition. Would you so kindly explain?
The following article explains the sort of chronic abuse and neglect that can produce "developmental PTSD":

Prazosin 10 mg/day. Prazosin exerts a broad and persistent antidepressant effect for me. The only side effect I experience is a reduction in sex-drive.
If you decide to try prazosin, be aware that one often experiences dizziness and fatigue as startup side effects. You would probably want to initiate treatment with a single 1 mg dose taken at night followed by 1 mg two or three times a day for a week or so. My feeling is that the therapeutic range for prazosin when treating PTSD is 6 - 15 mg/day. I have settled on 10 mg/day as the lowest effective dose. Higher dosages tend to leave me feeling fatigued and unmotivated.
My current treatment regime:
Parnate 80 mg/day
nortriptyline 150 mg/day
lithum 450 mg/day
Abilify 10 mg/day
prazosin 10 mg/day
minocyline 200 mg/dayI have recently discontinued Lamictal in an attempt to reduce memory impairments and cognitive side effects. It is my guess that the addition of minocycline will allow for this.
