Personally through my own personal experience I don't feel the long tapers are necessary for all. I know many myself included who just cut down in half in a day. Recently I've gone fro 15mg of valium and lmg of xanax. To .75mg of valium & .25mg of xanax with no ill effects. Weren't working anyway so why take them? Phillipa
