If God came down from Heaven and said, "B2C, I will provide you with but single treatment to allow you to live a joyous and healthy life, but you must gain 20 pounds as a side effect.", what would you do?
I know. It is one hell of a compromise.
If you are brought to remission, you would have the motivation and energy to exercise and promote healthy eating habits. This will lessen the impact of these drugs on body weight and overall health. I have not had the energy nor motivation to go to the gym to exercise yet, but I am making small improvements in my diet.
If God came down from Heaven and asked me the same question that he might one day ask you, I would answer "YES!" in a heartbeat. Of course, I am not you. I am 50 pounds overweight, primarily because of the metabolic effects of psychotropic drugs and some carb cravings. Some of the weight is also the consequence of the depression itself and how it leaves me disengaged from an active lifestyle. I am sedentary. I sit and sleep too much. This is changing, though.
