I exercise, not as much as I used to, but I exercise. I find that exercise makes EVERYTHING better, not just mental but my sleep apnea, blood pressure, EVERYTHING.
I find if I exercise aerobically hard six days a week for a month or more, my mood improves quite a bit and my antidepressant works a lot better.
I find when I lose weight, my sleep apnea improves and my mood/mental status improves.
So yeah, aerobic exercise, especially regular and intense aerobic exercise, it definitely is an antidepressant/anti-anxiety tool.
I would argue even that intense aerobic exercise is even a mild anti-psychotic!!! I am serious.Eric
