> b2c.It was major weight gain when I first got on Nardil back in 1998. Really bad cravings for sweet carbohydrates. Also seems to change something in the metabolism where you don't really have a good concept of when you are full. You can eat right past that point if you are not careful. Of course, weight gain is one of the symptoms of atypical depression, which I have and for which Nardil is the "Bomb".
I am now very careful with diet and exercise on Nardil. I have lost 10 pounds since starting back on it 6 weeks ago.
This is the one medication, augmented with .5mg of clonazepam, out of 45+ different combinations that has worked for my atypical depression and social anxiety. I couldn't even go in the grocery store when the social anxiety hit this last time. Now I walk in, I'm completely comfortable, BS with the tellers, amazing difference. It takes time, but when Nardil starts working, it is like flipping a switch.
