Has anyone else used 2 benzodiazepines at the same time?

Several years ago, I was having severe anxiety for a few months. My pdoc at the time had me on 3mg of Xanax XR and Lorazepam 0.5mg as needed. I think it's OK to take two as long as your doctor is aware.

my pills-
Lamictal 150mg, Pristiq 50mg, Deplin 7.5mg, Saphris 5mg, Klonopin down to 0.25mg and trying to taper off
