Unfortunatly antidepressant drugs dont help everybody who is unhappy - you might be suffering from a personality disorder for example, rather than major depression.

Have you ever tried an SSRI for example Zoloft combined with an NARI, for example nortriptyline or bupropion? This can sometimes give an added kick to the regimen.

Some of the new atypical antipsychotics have been shown to help in low doseages as well - I have found risperidone 1mg at night of great benifit
