Thank you. I have been around Babble for about 10 years and now am just to posting an anniversary message.
My diagnosis is primarily GAD with moderate unipolar Depression. History of agoraphobia and panic disorder. Checkered history with AD's so initially settled on mono therapy with Klonopin @ .5-1 mg per day. Did that for 4 years. That plan was "okay" but didn't treat the depressive symptoms which were largely, lack of motivation and drive. Finally succumbed to a plan change despite some residual med "phobia".
Currently - Lexapro @ 20 mgs per day. Klonopin .25 mgs. prn up to twice a day... I might throw that in occasionally at night as general and daytime dose only if I'm going to the dentist (Smile)
I urge everyone to keep trying... Find your path... Advice can be great but "blanket" ideas just don't hold for everyone in every situation. Poly-syllabic words and conflicting studies aside, I and others are proof, treatment can work. My wellness is not a debatable nor do I need to defend it topic for me. (Smile) -- which in one of the reasons I don't "do" message boards anymore (another Smile)
Thanks again!!!
