I take Abilify, which is kind of an odd drug, but...I haven't noticed much in the way of tolerance. When I go off of it, I initially require higher doses to get stable, but that's probably due to psychological/psychiatric factors and b/c Abilify isn't sedating (great for long-term, not the best for short-term monotherapy).
Anyway, I think your brain starts increasing D2 receptor density after a couple weeks of treatment. I could be wrong, but I think that's why some people are on side-effect meds early on and then they're able to taper off of those...the brain adapts. I imagine SLS would know more about that, though.
