In reply to Paxil was too sedating, but helped. What next?, posted by sregan on November 8, 2010, at 20:29:17
> My wife was on 12.5 mg paxil for 2 weeks and decided to discontinue. It made her way too sleepy but she said it helped stabilize her mood.

Is Lexapro expensive even with good insurance?Did the doctors consider adding something like Provigil to help with the sedation caused by the Paxil. It seems like such a shame to discontinue a med that was helping. What it she took it at night? Was she still really sedated the next day? Also, she was only on it for 2 weeks. The sedation may have resolved itself in a couple more weeks.
